Summary:
As a growing company, we are always looking for new team members to help us continue in our success.
Currently, we are seeking a Receiving Material Handler whose purpose is to support distribution operations by efficiently scanning, receiving, and staging inbound merchandise accurately and in a timely manner.
This employee also sorts the merchandise by department, stacks, and palletizes items to ensure that product is ready to be transported to appropriate staging areas.

Accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.
Accurately identify units of measure.
Identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.
Prepare orders for transport to customer.
Lift and handle totes approximately weighing 50lbs onto a conveyor system leading to shipping areas Take direction from Supervisor for additional assignments or schedule changes Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop _:
High School diploma or GED preferred Commitment to high standards of safety and compliance to all safety policies and practices.
Excellent attendance record Ability to work overtime when needed Good comprehension skills Good math skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management Attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skills Excellent organizational skills in maintaining accurate records Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines Must be a team player with a can do attitude Experience operating power eqipment a plus Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to meet all physical assessment requirements for the position Employee
