We are looking for teachers who are firm but flexible; caring and confident; creative and playful.
Teachers work 40 hours per week and the school calendar includes 229 days.
Calendar is very similar to the public school calendar but includes a summer session.
Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum program - Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students - Utilize various teaching methods and resources to deliver effective instruction - Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and other forms of assessment - Provide academic advising and guidance to students on their educational goals and career paths - Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment - Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, support staff and other departments to meet the needs of students - Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge Note:

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree & Secondary Teaching License or Bachelors degree, willingness to become licensed through Utah APPEL program and experience teaching youth.
