Real Estate Assistant

As a Real Estate Assistant your role will be to support the agents in a top producing Real Estate Sales Team. This will involve multiple assignments, often handling details of a confidential nature. Responsible for prioritizing projects to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, team oriented environment. Positive and good natured personality a must.
Duties and Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task, succeed under pressure and effectively manage time and workload with strong organizational and written skills
Possess a high attention to detail as position involves responsibility for ensuring accuracy on critical real estate documents.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be comfortable interacting with clients tactfully in high-pressure customer service situations.
Ability to effectively and professionally meet client expectations and positively represent the team
Maintain an organized and professional work environment
Maintain high level of confidentiality with integrity
Be motivated and self-starting with a desire to succeed and contribute to the success of a team; dependable; proactive showing initiative
Ability to work autonomously with limited direction
Identify problems and implement problem-solving resolutions with limited supervision
Adaptable and flexible in fast paced environment
Ability to track the progress of evolving documents over an extended period of time
Be familiar with web site marketing and manage multiple web sites and internet marketing
Maintain listings in Multiple Listing Service
Maintain real estate files and short sale files
Have advanced knowledge and ability to complete word processing tasks (correspondence, reports, memos, proposals, charts, agreements, PowerPoint presentations, etc.)
Type reports, proposals, spreadsheets, mass mailings and all daily correspondence
Maintain and update agents' client/prospect database
Assist with general office duties as needed
High school diploma required
Real estate license preferred or willingness to become licensed
Command of requisite technology including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and database systems; photo editing software such as Adobe

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
