Hur-material handler orders

As a growing company, we are always looking for new team members to help us continue in our success. Currently, we are seeking who will be primarily responsible for the support of distribution center operations by efficiently picking merchandise of fully cased items located in all order filling zones and labeling each carton in a manner which promotes ease of identification and scanning.
Start time schedule is between 2:30AM - 4:30 AM ; overtime required; Monday thru Friday.
Pay starts at $13.00 per hour; $15.45 after one year, and $17.25 after two years.
Accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.
Accurately identify units of measure.
Identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.
Prepare orders for transport to customer.
Lift and handle totes approximately weighing 30-45lbs onto a conveyor system leading to shipping areas
Take direction from Supervisor for additional assignments or schedule changes
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned.
High School diploma or GED preferred
Commitment to high standards of safety and compliance to all safety policies and practices.
Excellent attendance record
Ability to work overtime when needed
Good comprehension skills
Good math skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
Attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skills
Excellent organizational skills in maintaining accurate records
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
Must be a team player with a can do attitude
Experience operating power eqipment a plus
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Ability to meet all physical assessment requirements for the position
Undergo a thorough background check, physical assessment, and drug testings.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
